With over 20 years’ architectural experience, she has acted as lead consultant on a variety of prestigious health, mental health, education and ecclesiastical projects.

Katy’s interest in ‘inclusive design’ has led her to specialise in consultant architect reports for long-term accommodation needs in respect of medical negligence and personal injury litigation. She has also completed the CAE Access Consultancy Course and undertaken extensive training to become an Access Consultant.

Whilst at Nightingale Associates, Katy’s portfolio includes many high-profile education projects, such as the refurbishment of Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Bolton. She also worked closely with the King’s Fund, being selected to work on its acclaimed Enhancing the Healing Environment programme for integral improvements to Clatterbridge Hospital in Wirral.
