Thames Innovation Centre
Thames Innovation Centre (TIC) provides 50,000sqm office accommodation to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s). The design of the centre provides for 54 offices, ten incubator spaces, four workshops and six conference suites.
The triple height entrance and atrium space houses a cafeteria and exhibition venue. The design incorporates sustainable elements to satisfy a BREEAM rating ‘very good’, providing the client, Bexley Council, with the tools to reduce their carbon footprint. This has led to the centre winning a Green Apple Award for Best National New-build in the Public/Offices category (June 2007).
