'City Way' Luxury Apartments, Chester
These apartments are located within Chester's conservation area on compact site which was formerly occupied by a public house.
This particular project represented the first of several which were planned which would substantially impact upon the character of City Road, a thoroughfare whose image the City were keen to enhance. Following detailed discussions with the Planning Department the concept was moulded into a viable working proposal, meeting the aspirations of both Client and City.
The development comprises of 30 apartments, 18 of which are duplex units. A large mechanically ventilated basement car park, incorporating a substation and emergency generator, is integrated within the building’s footprint. Internally, the apartments are equipped and finished to the high standard which represents that expected by today’s discerning purchaser.
