Nightingale Associates open Belfast office
30 July 2007
Nightingale Associates is expanding its operation with the opening of a new design studio in Belfast and the appointment of Andrew Dadley as the Director in charge. This is the latest manifestation of Nightingale’s strategy of opening design studios close to valued clients.
The new office will allow Nightingale Associates, one of Europe’s leading architectural practices specialising in healthcare and education, to bring its expertise to bear on the market in Northern Ireland. Nightingale Associates already maintains links with a number of local practices with whom it has been collaborating on projects including Muckamore Abbey Hospital and Middletown school.
The practice will be pursuing the full range of commissions in the healthcare, education and science sectors and is currently actively recruiting locally.
John Knape, Regional Director for Northern England and Northern Ireland commented, “We see this move as a perfect strategic fit for Nightingale Associates, with the increasing spend on healthcare and education in the area matching our skills and knowledge. With decades of experience in healthcare and education we look forward to having the opportunity to assist in realising the initiatives that are currently making Northern Ireland one of the fastest growing areas in Europe.”
Andrew Dadley commented, “This represents an exciting opportunity to take an active role in the establishment of Nightingale Associates in Northern Ireland, and to further develop our working relationships with clients and fellow consultants as we seek to deliver the sort of innovative and exemplary designs for which Nightingale Associates is well known.”
