MENCAP trust in specialist knowledge

Nightingale Associates has been appointed by MENCAP to provide design consultancy for its three residential colleges based at Pengwern in North Wales, Dilston in Northumberland and Lufton in Yeovil, Somerset.
The charity’s network of education centres help support a full range of education and employment services for people with learning difficulties. The role of Nightingale Associates will be to review the estate and generate masterplan options for all three sites totaling £30million in value. The design work will be an essential element of an Application in Principle to the Learning and Skills Council for capital funding.
This is an excellent opportunity for the Nightingale team to build on its experience providing architectural services for specialist Colleges. Previous and current projects include the National Star College, Gloucestershire, Nash College in Kent and the Victoria Centre in Dorset.
