Nightingale Associates
open new Cardiff office

07 October 2002

Architects Nightingale Associates have implemented the first phase of their planned expansion in the UK by acquiring healthcare specialists h2M Architects. The Wales-based practice joined Nightingales on September 27.

Led by Cambridge-trained architects Colin Hockley, Kieren Morgan and Jonathan Hendrick, h2M Architects have an impressive reputation and track record in Cardiff. Much of their work over the last few years has been under the Capita banner, culminating in the recent win of the £250m Derby Hospital PFI.

In two months' time, Nightingale Associates' Cardiff office will move to newly refurbished premises with capacity for 40 staff. The current team of 15 healthcare specialists is expected to expand rapidly to provide resources for a mixture of local and national commissions.

Nightingale Associates' chairman Mike Nightingale said: "We are delighted to be complementing our existing team of 120 staff with this high-calibre group of like-minded people. Top quality architecture is our hallmark and the extra capacity and geographical spread will enable us to enhance our service to clients."
