Speaking up for design
quality in Vancouver
28 July 2000
Mike Nightingale, senior partner of architects Nightingale Associates, has been invited to represent UK healthcare architects, as the only UK speaker at a major international conference in Vancouver, Canada.
He will be giving a paper on design quality at the Centennial International symposium of the American Institute of Architects in October.
Nightingale Associates, which celebrated its tenth anniversary this year, is one of the world's leading practices specialising in healthcare architecture. It has just completed work on the country's first hospital PFI at Darent Valley Hospital and has also secured major PFI commissions at West Middlesex Hospital and King's College Hospital.
